JoAna recently wrote and performed her one woman show, Shades of Gray, at the Larkspur Cafe Theater to a sold-out crowd. According to JoAna, her dream was to make people laugh and cry, and to move and inspire them, as she shared her experiences illustrated with song. From the feedback she got, she says "my goals were met."
JoAna is planning to debut Shades of Gray in San Francisco in the future. Please go to "Performances and Contact Info" to be added to her email notification list
My lasting memory of you singing is that your presence, your song delivery commands the stage. You attract and keep the attention from the audience, You were real and available. The unique quality of the sound of your voice always strikes me. And I was relaxed as I watched because of an ease I experienced in you, a comfort of being on stage….
Acrisa Laughing Work, life coach
You are charming on stage and the audience was with you every step of the way. You were present and alive. The audience loved it and you. Nancy Dobbs Owen, actor and director of Shades of Gray
You kept us captive, amused us, entertained us, moved us! My favorite song was the “Divorce Song” – I had chills from the moment you started. Nidhi Rice, singer and workshop facilitator
You were one singular sensation last night. That performance was so beautiful and true and very heartfelt. You are a wonderful presence on the stage. So confident. Your slower songs were very pure and beautifully shared. Rick Lasquete, actor and singer
Thank you for putting on such a great show tonight. You really went for it and were so funny and genuine…. It's refreshing.
